COACH Q

Qon Murphy is a former Division I basketball player and dedicated skills trainer with years of experience competing and coaching at every level of the game. A 1,500+ point scorer in high school, Qon competed on the Nike EYBL circuit, going up against some of the nation’s top high school players and future pros. His high-level playing experience taught him what it takes to perform under pressure and stand out among elite competition.

Qon went on to play collegiately at Houston Christian University for two years before transferring to the University of New Hampshire, where he made an immediate impact in the America East Conference. He later finished his college career at UNC Pembroke, continuing to excel on and off the court.

After his playing days, Qon began coaching with the Jr. Celtics, helping develop young talent through the Boston Celtics organization. He then joined Star Athletes Prep in Florida, where he helped lead the team to a state championship. Most recently, Qon served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Charleston Southern University, gaining valuable experience at the Division I level and working closely with athletes on skill development, film study, and overall player growth.

As a trainer, Qon has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels — from middle school players just learning the game to professional men’s and women’s athletes sharpening their craft. His passion lies in helping players reach their full potential both on and off the court, building confidence, discipline, and a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.
